4th May 2018
Our Gardens Manager Pippa will meet you in the South Court, at the front entrance of the house, to introduce you to the colourful tapestry of tulips spreading across the three garden rooms. Designed by Sir Walter Scott with advice from artists, architects and friends and radically different from contemporary fashions, the gardens offer a window into Scott's unique vision for the outdoors, while the horticultural layout puts a modern twist on Abbotsford's heritage.
Timing to be confirmed, please check back closer to the day. The tour is free to join for visitors to the historic house and gardens. There's no need to prebook spaces, just join at the meeting point.
