23rd Jul 2018 - 14th Sep 2018
Our volunteer guide will meet you at the front entrance of the house to introduce you to the three garden rooms, the South Court, East Court and Kitchen Garden. Designed by Sir Walter Scott with advice from artists, architects and friends, and radically different from contemporary fashions, the gardens offer a window into Scott's unique vision for the outdoors.
Tours run every Monday at 12pm
every Friday at 3pm
between 23rd July and 14th September.
The tour lasts roughly 1 hour and is free to join for visitors to the historic house and gardens. There's no need to prebook, just join at the meeting point outside the historic house. The maximum group size is 15, with spaces allocated on a first come first serve basis.
