Guided tours for local guests

Enjoy a visit to Abbotsford in the company of an experienced local guide

Abbotsford is the home of Sir Walter Scott, the 19th century novelist, who popularised tartan, saved the Scottish banknote and rediscovered his country’s Crown Jewels. He was a storyteller who delighted in taking people on entertaining tours of his home and eclectic museum collection. Enjoy a similar experience as our local experts tell you the stories behind Scott’s wonderful house and its amazing objects.
