Visitor Experience Assistant: Youth Volunteer Project

This role is part of our Youth Volunteer Project aimed at 14-25 year olds.

Abbotsford is the home of Sir Walter Scott, but there is much more to find out about us behind closed doors... Volunteering with us is an opportunity to gain practical skills and experience. We can even help you to work towards the Saltire Award.

Whether you’re working towards your Duke of Edinburgh's Award or just looking to develop your skill base Abbotsford can help you along the way.

As a Visitor Experience Assistant you will work with the Visitor Services team in our visitor centre and with the Room Steward team within the Historic House.

You will develop an understanding of how the visitor experience at a five star visitor attraction is managed whilst gaining a range of customer service skills. Your role will involve interacting with visitors to Abbotsford, helping to ensure that they have the best possible experience.

You don't need any experience just enthusiasm to learn and an interest in the role.
