Junior Estate Ranger: Youth Volunteer Project

This role is part of our Youth Volunteer Project aimed at 14-25 year olds. This role will take place from October-December 2022.

Abbotsford is the home of Sir Walter Scott, but there is much more to find out about us behind closed doors... Volunteering with us is an opportunity to gain practical skills and experience. We can even help you to work towards the Saltire Award.

Whether you’re working towards your Duke of Edinburgh's Award or just looking to develop your skill base Abbotsford can help you along the way.

As a Junior Estate Ranger you will work closely with our Estate Ranger learning how to care for and preserve our Estate which is an important habitat. You will get the opportunity to gain a range of practical skills and develop your understanding of biodiversity.

You don't need any experience just enthusiasm to learn and an interest in the role.
