VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Join the Abbotsford Trust as a volunteer and get involved in one of the most fascinating and unique historic places in Scotland!

Volunteers get involved in all sorts of ways at Abbotsford, from gardening in the beautiful walled gardens to guiding tour parties around the historic house, room stewarding, delivering talks to groups around the region, welcoming visitors to the Visitor Centre, supporting us with events and assisting with conservation tasks and research into the collections.

As a small charity, volunteers play a crucial role within the Abbotsford Trust and work closely with our staff team to care for, share and celebrate this unique heritage site with visitors from all around the world and our local community.

We currently have a team of over 100 volunteers of all ages working across our organisation and we’re on the hunt for more local people to get involved and help us make Abbotsford one of the best places to visit - and to volunteer!
