Visit Abbotsford and discover a feast for the senses…
Abbotsford welcomes pupils of all ages and abilities and especially those from SEN schools and units. Whether for a one-off visit or a block of visits, our experienced staff can help you plan a programme of bespoke activities to support pupils of different abilities from nursery-age children to senior phase.
Choose from a range of activities to build a visit including:
-
Exploring the gardens with a bag of visual tricks and tools
-
Exploring the gardens with cameras
-
Investigating the exterior of the building and looking for shapes, colours and textures
-
Treasure hunts in the house or gardens with visual clues
-
Woodland walks making journey sticks
-
Getting hands-on with horticultural tasks
Please contact the Learning team to discuss how we can help you and your pupils make the most of what Abbotsford has to offer. We’re looking forward to welcoming you soon!
