Our programme for schools takes pupils on a journey into the heart of Scott’s world with an exciting range of cross-curricular learning experiences for pupils of all ages.
Contact us to discuss a visit and discover Abbotsford and the world of Sir Walter Scott for yourself!
How to book your visit
Please download a School Visit Booking Form and email your completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Learning Officer will then contact you at a suitable time to discuss your booking. Please complete the form with as much information as you can about your visit and a member of our Learning team will contact you at a suitable time to discuss your booking. Alternatively, please call us on 01896 752 043 or email us.
Please note that all led sessions with a member of the Learning team must be pre-booked and are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Admission is by invoice after your visit.
Risk assessments for each session are also available and will be sent to you along with your confirmation letter.
Teachers who have booked a visit are entitled to two complimentary tickets to carry out a familiarisation visit. Please contact the Learning Officer to arrange a suitable time.
Please note that only pre-booked groups have access to the Learning Centre facility for the secure storage of bags and coats and for packed lunches.
