Visiting with a school group - practical information
Pre-booked school groups have use of our Learning Centre in the basement of the house for snacks and packed lunches, safe storage for coats and bags and access to dedicated toilets. There is a ramp to access the Learning Centre from outside and one disabled toilet available.
We are committed to making our site, facilities and activities as accessible as possible. Please let us know about any physical access, learning or behavioural needs when making a booking and we will be delighted to adapt our approach and work with you to make our activities suitable for all.
Schools can also apply for a travel subsidy of up to £150 to help with the costs of a school trip. Please discuss this with the Learning team when making a booking – please note funding for support is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Admission is by invoice after your visit with accompanying staff and adult helpers receiving complimentary entry.
