Have you got fantastic team leadership skills and experience of working to targets in a busy customer environment? We need your help to delight our visitors every day, helping us grow our income through retail, admissions and self catering.

Abbotsford, the home of Sir Walter Scott in the Scottish Borders, is one of Scotland’s most important heritage sites. Following completion of a multi-million £ redevelopment, and now with easy access from Edinburgh along the new Borders Railway, we are focussing on developing our trading performance. This is an exciting time to join Abbotsford as a member of the management team.

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with a retail or visitor attraction background who excel at leading people and thrive on variety. You may not have every part of the job description covered, but don't let that put you off applying. As a small independent charity operated by a happy band of staff and volunteers, a positive approach to team working and problem solving is a must.
